I was washing dishes at the sink in our kitchen at 3501 15th Ave. All the sudden I noticed that there were geckos everywhere, little lizards, sleeping on the shelf that stretched over the sink between the cupboards. I reasoned that Jaina's washing her face with honey got sugary sweetness residue on everything, and so insects had started living there, and so geckos had showed up to eat the insects. It seemed complete, like an ecosystem that had developed around the excess caused by the honey.
The girls were in the living room. I had let a stray dog into the house, and fashioned a sort of leash out of a yoga strap. Then I realized that Jaina was about to get home... I heard her out on the front steps yelling at another stray dog, a big white american bull dog. I rushed my dog out the back door. Then I realized that the dog had had flees and they had bit me all over my forearms.
Earlier I had been at core power, trying to get my stuff together to go. Michele, the owner of One Yoga kept motioning for me to come back into the studio, but I wanted to go see Jaina. I grabbed my stuff, ran out, was still confused about wether I had everything... I thought I left my new blue jeans, but then as I was about to go back I realized I was wearing them.
I got into my dads car in a parking lot and was trying to turn around to get out. There were brick buildings surrounding me, and only one driveway out.
Jaina and I were in the public library. I opened a magazine with an article about Indian food. I was looking for something in particular.
Back At the kitchen I blended a superfoods smoothie, mostly made of dragon fruit. It blended and blended, until finally it whipped into a beautiful dish, that stood up straight and had pink flowers on top. I showed it to Jaina, it was very impressive.
